MOST PC laptops and Apple Macbooks have the tech specs to run the latest games, so if you like a bit of entertainment on the go, you'll need a better input device than the default touchpad.

The compact V450 Nano Cordless Laser Mouse from Logitech is a good option for a number of practical reasons. Efficient on almost any surface (bar anything too reflective), the lightweight Nano is just like a desktop mouse that's been shrunk down a few sizes.

The mouse syncs to your laptop over a 2.4GHz wireless connection via an impressively tiny USB Nano-receiver - no bigger than a thumbnail - which is stored inside the mouse itself when not in use.

An on/off switch, along with a battery-indicator light, should eliminate any power wastage, though Logitech insists the mouse can run for up to 12 months on two AA batteries.

The Nano's only real flaw is that it may be too small for some hands, but blasting away an alien invasion force from the cramped confines of an aeroplane seat has certainly been made easier.
